Images from the Providence Preservation Society 10 Most Endangered Properties List

Since 1994 the Providence Preservation Society has put together a list of the 10 most endangered properties in the city. Since the start, photographers have been invited to interpret a property on the list and to exhibit that work in an annual show. Over the past 10 years some really excellent work has been produced by many of Rhode Island's most talented photographers.

This work represents my own efforts. Perhaps a sign of the effectiveness of the list is the fact that when the Masonic Temple restoration gets underway later this year, each property shown here has been given a more secure future.

I have been happily involved with this project from the very beginning and this year, 2004 will feature a Retrospective show. Check back for more details.
